Vintage hanging scroll painting. A pair of Japanese Pheasants under a quercus tree. The green foliage Sasa veitchii is grass origin in Japan. It grows well with qurcus trees. Couple chrysanthemum flowers shows its season in late autumn. Ink and colour on silk. Late Taisyo to early showa era (1910s-1950s). This hanging scroll had been kept inside of Paulownia kimono drawers to prevent from humidity, however as it is antique product, there are some damages on base part.
